The publication is authored by Mingi Hyun, the founder and managing director of Polemos Advisors, a boutique defense consultancy based in New Jersey USA. In parallel, he also serves as a Distinguished Research Fellow at the Yokosuka Council on Asia-Pacific Studies (YCAPS) and has published and taught extensively on international security and military history. Mingi holds MA and BA (Hons) degrees from the Department of War Studies, King's College London.
